About T in the Bark
Built with love by dog owners, for dog owners

John & Lynne
We're John and Lynne — a local couple from Aberdeenshire with a lifelong love of dogs and the great outdoors. After years of searching for safe, enclosed spaces where our dogs could run free without worry, we decided to create one ourselves.
T in the Bark was born from a simple idea: every dog deserves a safe, beautiful place to be truly free. Nestled beneath the woodland canopy near Cruden Bay, our private 1.7-acre park is where every path leads to adventure and every visit feels a little magical. Wander through enchanting forest trails, discover handcrafted natural features, and let your dog follow their instincts to sniff, explore, and play.
We've poured our hearts into building this space — from the dead hedge maze and Paw Portal tunnels to The Bark Bothy shelter, the woodland trails to the double-gated entry. Surrounded by birdsong, towering trees, and the beauty of nature, it's a place where dogs roam freely, tails wag endlessly, and unforgettable memories are made.
We can't wait to welcome you and your furry family to T in the Bark.
What We Stand For
Dog First
Every decision we make starts with one question: is this good for the dogs? Your dog's happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
Safety Always
From our fully enclosed perimeter to our double-gated entry system, we've built safety into every corner. You can relax knowing your dog is secure.
Natural Beauty
We're blessed with a stunning natural setting. We maintain the grounds carefully while preserving the wild, natural feel that dogs love to explore.
Community
We're building more than a dog park — we're building a community of dog lovers across Aberdeenshire who share our passion for happy, healthy dogs.
